“What a wonderful place. My husband and I were looking to get away from it all with our twin babies and dog and feel lucky to have discovered this cabin. The lodge itself is impeccably kept, beautifully designed, and full of light. The owners have anticipated their guests’ needs – the kitchen was well stocked with pantry items and dishes, free firewood was chopped and waiting, and clean linens and towels were ready upon our arrival. All we needed to do was unpack.
The lodge is secluded and private, surrounded by a forest of trees. The peaceful setting, stove fireplace, and handcrafted wood finishes in the cabin made for lovely ambiance in the evenings. We woke to soft bird calls in the mornings. The nearby Amish bakery was delicious, we went twice. It was tough to leave – we were so thrilled with the cabin that we prolonged our stay by one night.
